Vel Tech University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, has invited applications for Vel Tech University Engineering Entrance Examination 2012, popularly known as VTUEEE. The entrance test is being conducted for admission into the following disciplines of B Tech (Bachelor of Technology) programme, to be offered in the upcoming academic session 2012. Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of merit obtained in the entrance test, scheduled to be conducted on the date mentioned below, followed by counseling, to be conducted by the University.

Interested candidates can obtain the application form with information brochure through any of the following methods:
- Through post by sending a postal request letter containing the full postal address of the applicant addressed to The Admissions Officer, VTUEEE, along with a DD of Rs 200 drawn in favor of Vel Tech Dr. RR & Dr. SR Technical University, payable at Chennai
- In person against a DD of Rs 200 drawn in favor of Vel Tech Dr. RR & Dr. SR Technical University, payable at Chennai from the University’s Administrative Office
- In person from selected Taluk Post Offices or select branches of Vijaya Bank, Axis Bank or Bank of India (list and address given on the website: http://www.vel-tech.org/) against cash payment of maximum Rs 200
- In person from accredited book sellers (list and address given on the website) against cash payment of maximum Rs 200
- By downloading from the abovementioned website of Vel Tech University
