Yogi Vemana University (YVU) was upgraded by the Government of Andhra Pradesh through an Act of A.P. Legislative Assembly on 9th March 2006. The University is located at Ganganapalli village and Panchayat about 15 km from the Kadapa city on the Kadapa-Pulivendla road. Its campus is spread over 450 acres of land.
