Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) was established in the year 1984, to regulate the higher secondary education system of the state of Assam. The Council creates a platform for all students to receive the same education without discrimination at the higher secondary level. The certificate awarded by the Council is recognized by other councils of education in the country.
