Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET), Longwal, Punjab, has invited applications from eligible candidates for the SLIET Entrance Test 2012, also known as SET. It is a national level entrance test conducted by the institute for admission into its various programmes at the level of Certificate, Diploma, Degree, Post-Graduate (M Tech / M Sc / MBA) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) for the session 2012-13.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can either apply online or offline, as per the following guidelines:
Online Mode: The candidates can apply online through website: http://www.sliet.ac.in/ or http://www.sliet.net.in/ and pay the required fee of Rs 1000 (Rs 500 for SC / ST) though Debit Card / Credit Card / Online generated Pay-in-Slip in the HDFC / CBI Bank branches. However, before filling in the online application, candidates are advised to carefully read all the instructions available on the website.
Offline Mode: The information brochure containing application form for Entrance Test is available from Central Bank of India, SLIET Longowal Branch and other various designated branches of HDFC bank in the country (list given in the website), on payment of Rs 1100 (Rs 600 for SC/ST).
The duly filled in and completed application form should be submitted latest by April 30, 2012. For any further details regarding admission, eligibility criteria and application procedure, candidates are requested to visit the Institute's aforementioned official website.
