University of Allahabad (UOA), also known as Allahabad University, Uttar Pradesh, has invited applications from eligible candidates to apply for Under Graduate Admission Test 2012, popularly known as UGAT. UGAT is being conducted by the University, in order to select eligible candidates for admission into the following regular degree courses (only), in its constituent colleges, for session 2012.

Note: B Sc (Applied Science) has been dropped from UGAT Test 2012.
Date of Exam
UGAT 2012 is scheduled to be held on May 23, 2012 and May 23, 2012.
Test Centers
UGAT 2012 will be held at Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Bareilly, Bhubaneswar, Delhi, Patna, Varanasi and Bhopal centers, except BFA, BPE, B Music for which the exam will be held only at Allahabad centre.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may apply online as well as offline, as per the details given below:
To apply online: To apply online, candidates can log onto the university’s official website: http://www.allduniv.ac.in/ or http://www.auadmission.co.in/. The application fee is Rs 600 for General / OBC candidates and Rs 300 for SC/ST/PH candidates. The fee can be paid either in the form of Draft drawn in favor of Finance Officer, University of Allahabad, payable at Allahabad or through Challan (downloadable from the website). After successfully submitting the application form, one must take a printout of the same. The original Challan (University Copy) / Draft should be sent to “The Director UGAT-2011, Pravesh Bhawan, Chaitham Lines, University of Allahabad, Allahabad - 211002, latest by April 25, 2012.
To apply offline: Candidates may obtain the OMR Forms and information brochure in person from Pravesh Bhawan,Chaitham Lines, University of Allahabad, Allahabad - 211002 (UP) against a cash payment of Rs 600 for General / OBC candidates and Rs 300 for SC/ ST/ PH candidates. Applications are available on all days including holidays between 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. The duly filled in OMR form should be submitted at the counters of Pravesh Bhawan, University of Allahabad, latest by April 25, 2012.
