Assam University Silchar, Assam, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into M Tech (Master of Technology) programmes in the following specializations, to be offered in the upcoming session commencing from July 2012. Admission will be made on the basis of candidate's performance in the admission test, to be conducted by the respective departments of the University. However, preference will be given to candidates having valid GATE / ICAR score.
Courses / Specializations Offered:
- Agricultural Engineering (AE) (for the specialization in Water Resources Development & Management; Aqua Cultural Engineering; Farm Machinery & Power Engineering and Food Process Engineering)
- Information Technology (IT) under Triguna Sen School of Technology, Assam University, Silchar Head Quarter

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain prospectus along with application form for the course(s) on payment of Rs 600 (for General and OBC students) and Rs 500 (for SC / ST students) from the Assam University cash counter, SBI Dorgokona Branch, and office of Diphu Campus, AUS, on working days up to 2 pm. The form can also be downloaded from the University’s official website: http://www.aus.ac.in and submitted along with an application fee of Rs 600 (for General and OBC students) or Rs 500 (for SC / ST students) through DD / Banker Cheque. The DD / Banker Cheque should be drawn in favour of Finance Officer, Assam University Silchar, payable at Silchar. Separate application should be submitted for each course.
The duly filled in and completed application form along with all requisite enclosures (details given on the website) should be submitted in person in the boxes placed at Raja Ram Mohan Roy Administrative Building Room No. 4, Assam University, Silchar, or else can be sent through post to The Registrar, Assam University, Silchar - 788011, latest by June 15, 2012. The envelope should be super-scribed as APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION to M Tech (AE) or M Tech (IT).
