Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into Postgraduate (PG) and PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme, to be offered in the upcoming academic session 2012-13. Admission to the course(s) will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the entrance test(s), followed by personal interview(s), to be conducted by the University.

The entrance test(s) will be conducted from May 30, 2012 to June 5, 2012.

The test(s) will be conducted at the following centres: Ahmedabad, Bangaluru, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jammu, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Nagpur, Patna, Ranchi, Raipur, Thiruvanathapuram and Visakhapatnam.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the prospectus containing Application Form for Entrance Test in person from the Admission Cell, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Vidya Vihar, Raebareli Road, Lucknow-226025 on cash payment of Rs 400 (Rs 100 for SC / ST / PH candidates) in case of PG programmes and Rs 500 (Rs 125 for SC / ST / PH candidates) in case of PhD programmes on all working days from March 27, 2012 onwards. However, the prescribed application form can also be downloaded from the University's official website:http://www.bbauindia.org/. The duly filled in and completed application form along with fee and requisite enclosure documents should be sent to the Admission Cell, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Universit, Vidya Vihar, Raebareli Road, Lucknow- 226025, latest by April 30, 2012.
Note:
- In case of PhD programmes, candidates exempted from Entrance test (NET / GATE / GPAT) may send their completed application form directly to The Controller of Examination, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Vidya Vihar, Raebareli Road, Lucknow- 226025.
- A candidate can apply for more than one course by filling up seperate application form for each course.
