University of Burdwan, popularly known as Burdwan University, West Bengal, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into M Ed (master of Education) course, to be offered in the upcoming academic session 2012. Selection for admission shall be made on merit basis i.e. grade points will be computed on the basis of marks obtained starting from Madhyamik to Post-Graduate and above as well as performance in the written test.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the prescribed application form from the sales counter of the University (not by post) on payment of Rs 100 in cash and on production of original / xerox attested copy of the Marksheet of B Ed exam on all working days except Saturdays, Sundays and University holidays. The prescribed application form can also be downloaded from the University’s official website: http://www.buruniv.ac.in/. The direct link to download the prescribed application form is: http://www.buruniv.ac.in/Notices/UBUR_2012087_NOT_WEBPAGE_APPL_FORM.pdf. In case of downloaded application form, a copy of Challan for payment of Rs 100 only at the cash section of the University or a DD of Rs 100 drawn in favor of the Finance Officer, The University of Burdwan, payable at Burdwan, must be attached along with the form. The duly filled in and completed application form should be submitted latest by May 25, 2012.
