University of Burdwan, also known as Burdwan University, Burdwan, West Bengal, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into Post Graduate courses of studies (MA / M Sc) in the following subjects, to be offered in the upcoming academic session 2012-14. Admission to the courses will be made on the basis of candidates' performance in the admission test, to be conducted by the University.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the prescribed application form from the Sales Counter of the University (not by post) on payment of Rs 100 in cash. Forms may be had between 11:00 am and 1:30 pm on all working days (not on Saturdays). However, the application form can also be downloaded from the University’s official website: http://www.buruniv.ac.in/. The duly filled in and completed application form, along with all requisite enclosure documents (detailed list given on the direct link: http://www.buruniv.ac.in/Notices/UBUR_2012207_NOT_WEBPAGE.pdf), should be submitted latest by August 10, 2012. For any more detailed information about admission, eligibility criteria and application procedure, candidates are requested to visit the University’s abovementioned official website.
Note: For admission to M Sc course in Physiology, Conservation Biology, Geology & Biochemistry taught at Hooghly Mohsin College, Durgapur Govt. College and Durgapur College of Commerce & Science, Rajbandh respectively, forms are to be collected from and submitted to the offices of the concerned colleges during the same period.
