Note: Candidates from other states can also apply for admission into MCA and PhD programmes only. However, the wards of Kashmiri Migrants and J&K Residents may also apply for admission to Undergraduate programmes only.
Date of Exam
Admission will be made on the basis of candidates' performance in the entrance examination-2012 for admission to Undergraduate, Masters' including MCA (except M Tech) and PhD programmes of the University.
The entrance examination schedule is as follows:
- PhD & Masters' - June 6, 2012 (10.00 am to 1.00 pm)
- MCA - June 6, 2012 (3.00 pm to 6.00 pm)
- Undergraduate - June 3, 2012 (10.00 am - 1.00 pm)

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the prospectus and application form by sending written requisition to the Coordinator Admissions, GB Pant University Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar - 263 145, District - Udham Singh Nagar (Uttarakhand) along with a crossed bank draft of Rs 200. The draft should be drawn in favor of PEECRF A/C, G B Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, payable at SBI / U Co Bank / PNB, Pantnagar, accompanied by a 30 x 25 cm size self-addressed stamped envelope bearing postage stamps worth Rs 19 by ordinary post and Rs 36 by Registered post, not later than April 3, 2012. One may also obtain the prospectus containing application from the following designated post offices w.e.f. February 15, 2012 to March 26, 2012 against cash payment of Rs 200 + Rs 40 handling charges.
