Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUST), Hisar, Haryana, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme in the following departments, to be offered in the ensuing academic session 2012-13. Admission will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the entrance test, to be conducted by the University departments.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can download the application form from the University’s official website: http://www.gjust.ac.in/. The downloaded application form complete in all respect should be submitted with a Bank Draft of Rs 1000 (Rs 250 for SC/ST candidates of Haryana). Information brochure containing application form and other necessary details can also be obtained from the sale counter (Registration Branch) through cash payment of Rs 1000 (Rs 250 for SC/ST candidates of Haryana). However, candidates can also obtain the same through post by sending a Demand Draft of Rs 1050 (Rs 300 for SC / BC candidates of Haryana) drawn in favor of Registrar, GJUS&T, Hisar, payable at Hisar, to Assistant Registrar (Regn.) up to December 19, 2012. The duly filled in and completed application form, along with DD and other requisite enclosure documents, should be sent to the Chairperson of the respective department latest by December 21, 2012 (up to 5.00 pm). Candidates applying for more than one department should submit separate application form for each department. For more details regarding admission, eligibility criteria and application procedure, one can visit the University’s aforementioned official website.
Note: The University offers scholarships to deserving candidates for which appearing in the entrance test is mandatory.
