Institute of Bioinformatics & Applied Biotechnology (IBAB), Bangalore, Karnataka, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into M Sc (Master of Science) in Bioinformatics and Biotechnology programme, to be offered in the ensuing session 2012. The degree is being awarded by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi. One must note that it is not a distance-education programme as the course will commence at the IBAB campus, in Bangalore. Admissions will be made through an online entrance test, followed by a personal interview, to be conducted by the Institute.

How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to apply online ONLY by filling in the online application form made available on Institute's official website: http://www.ibab.ac.in/. The application processing fee (non-refundable) is Rs 500 (for students from India and non-industrialized countries) and Rs 1000 (for NRI/Foreign students from industrialized countries). The amount should be paid through DD drawn in favour of 'Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology’ payable at Bengaluru. The DD and other requisite documents (details given in the website) should be sent through Post / Courier or submitted in person, after filling up the form online and latest by June 16, 2012.
