New Delhi: Indira Gandhi National Open University, popularly known as IGNOU, New Delhi, will hold an entrance test for admission into various diploma, PG diploma, Master in Management Programme (OPENMAT-XXXII), M Ed, B Ed and Post Basic B Sc Nursing (OPENMAT-II) programme, to be offered in the ensuing session January 2013. The entrance test is scheduled to be held on August 19, 2012
Candidates, who seek to get admission into the abovementioned programmes, can obtain Student Handbook and Prospectus from Registrar (SRD), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi - 110 068 or city of the concerned Regional Centre by paying an application fee of Rs 500 (in cash). Application form can also be downloaded from the official website of the University: http://www.ignou.ac.in/
The duly filled-in application form should be submitted by Registered / Speed post for B Ed and M Ed programme to Regional Centre (list of regional centre along with the city is given on the website) and for OPENMAT-XXXII and B Sc Nursing (Post Basic) to the Registrar (SED), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi- 110 068, on or before July 15, 2012.
One should attach a Demand Draft (DD) / Indian Postal Order (IPO) of Rs 550 drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of IGNOU, payable at city of the Regional centre for B Ed and M Ed programme. However, for OPENMAT-XXXII and B Sc Nursing, one should obtain the same in favor of IGNOU, New Delhi.
