Founded in 1995, IIS University was earlier known as The International College for Girls (ICG). Under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, ICG had been conferred with a Deemed University status and renamed as IIS by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The University has been accredited with an “A” grade certificate by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It offers various levels of degrees / courses in several disciplines.
