Indian Institute of Surveying & Mapping (IIS&M), Uppal, Hyderabad, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into M Tech (Master of Technology) Geomatics / M Sc (Master of Science) Geospatial Science & Technology programme, to be offered in the ensuing session 2012. The above said programmes are being conducted by the Institute in collaboration with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad. Selection will be made on the basis of screening (sponsored candidates) or entrance test (private candidate), to be conducted by the institute on the date mentioned below.
Note:
- Sponsored candidates by Central / State Government Organizations or Public / Private Institutions must have to appear before Screening Committee at Indian Institute of Surveying & Mapping, Hyderabad for their selection.
- Private candidates selected for Entrance Examination will be intimated by registered post/email by June 15, 2012.

Entrance Exam is scheduled to be held on July 9, 2012.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the application form and prospectus in person from the office of the Additional Surveyor General, Indian Institute of Surveying & Mapping, Survey of India, Uppal, Hyderabad - 500 039 against cash payment of Rs 50, during office hours on all working days. However, the same can also be obtained through post by sending a requisition along with a Demand Draft of Rs 100 drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of E&AO, IIS&M, Hyderabad payable at Hyderabad. Application form and prospectus can also be downloaded from the official website of Survey of India: http://surveyofindia.gov.in/ and IIS&M: http://soisti.ap.nic.in/
The duly filled in application form complete in all respect should be sent to: Additional Surveyor General, Indian Institute of Surveying & Mapping, Survey of India, Uppal, Hyderabad - 500 039 on or before May 31, 2012. In case of downloaded application form, one must attach a Demand Draft of requisite amount (as per above).
