Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into the following disciplines / departments / centers of PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) / MS (Master of Science) (Research) programme (2nd Semester), to be offered in the ensuing academic session 2012-13. Admission to the PhD programmes is normally made on the basis of an interview, conducted by the Department / Centre concerned through its Department research committee (DRC) / Centre research committee (CRC).

How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to apply online by filling in the online application made available on the Institute’s official website: http://www.iitd.ac.in/. The direct link for the online application is: http://admissions.iitd.ac.in/psp/app/EMPLOYEE/EMPL/h/?tab=PAPP_GUEST. The last date of submitting the online application is November 10, 2012. The application fee is Rs 225 (for candidates belonging to General / OBC category) and Rs 75 (for candidates belonging to SC / ST / PH category). For payment of application fees, candidates are required to generate a bank Challan for each form submitted online and make the payment through Challan at the nearest branch of State Bank of India after 2 days of generating the bank Challan. The last date for submission of bank Challan for payment to SBI branch is November 14, 2012.
