Jamia Hamdard (A Deemed-to-be-University), New Delhi, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into Medical Council of India (MCI) approved five-year MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) programme, to be offered at Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (HIMSR) in the upcoming session 2012. Admission will be made on the basis of merit obtained in an All India Entrance Test, to be conducted by Jamia Hamdard on the below mentioned date.
Note:
- Candidates, who qualify the entrance examination, will have to undergo medical examination by the Medical Board set up by HIMSR, comprising of faculty members of the Institute.
- If, in the assessment of the Medical Board, a candidate is found medically unfit to be admitted to the course, then he/she will be rejected and not admitted. The decision of the Board shall be final.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the application form from the sale counter of Jamia Hamdard (Reception Counter, Faculty of Science Building, Hamdard University, Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi - 110 062) by paying an application fee of Rs 1000 (Rs 5000 for management quota) between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on all days. In addition, one can also download the application form from the official website of Jamia Hamdard: http://www.jamiahamdard.edu/ or http://www.jamiahamdard.ac.in/
The duly filled-in application form or printout of the downloaded form complete in all respect should be submitted latest by July 5, 2012 (up to 5.00 pm). One must attach a Demand Draft of requisite amount (as mentioned above) drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of Jamia Hamdard, payable at Delhi / New Delhi.
