New Delhi: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), will start its online admission process for the ensuing academic session 2012-13, from February 6, 2012 onwards. Reportedly, from this year, JNU has introduced the online application process for admissions. The sale and submission of offline application forms, will also commence from the same day i.e. February 6.
Despite introducing online admission process, the University will conduct several entrance exams to select eligible candidates for admission to various programmes, including Combined Biotechnology Entrance Examination on behalf of participating universities in 52 cities across India and in Kathmandu on May 22, 23, 24 and 25.
While announcing the admission process, Poonam Kudaisya, JNU PRO, said that the online application process will begin from 10.00 am on February 6 and will conclude on March 21, 2012 till 5pm. However, the last date for submission of the online application is March 28, 2012.
Furthermore, she informed that in addition to filling the online admission form, students can also make payments online. Those aspiring candidates without internet access can get the prescribed application forms through post by sending a crossed Bank Draft of Rs 300 drawn in favour of JNU, New Delhi. The last date of submission of these offline forms is March 21, 2012.
