Kashmir University Issues M Phil / PhD (in Arabic / Persian / Sanskrit) Admission 2012 Notification

University of Kashmir, also known as Kashmir University, Hazratbal, Srinagar, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into Master of Philosophy (M Phil) / Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) programme, to be offered in the below mentioned subjects at the University’s Faculty of Oriental Learning in the ensuing session 2012. Admission will be offered on the basis of merit obtained in the entrance test, to be conducted by the Faculty of Oriental Learning on the following date.

M Phil / PhD Subjects:

  • Arabic
  • Persian
  • Sanskrit
Note: Candidates who have already qualified JRF / NET / SET examination are exempted from appearing in the entrance test.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the application form from the sale counter of the University by paying an application fee of Rs 25. The same can be downloaded from the official website of the University: http://www.kashmiruniversity.net/. However, one has to deposit the prescribed application fee in the University's Chest. Apart from the application fee, candidates have to deposit an entrance test fee of Rs 175 in the University Chest. The duly filled-in application form complete in all respect should be submitted at the concerned department on or before August 25, 2012.
