NIFM - NSE PGP-FM / PGEP-FM Programme Admission 2012

National Institute of Financial Management (NIFM) and National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE),New Delhi, have invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into the following Post Graduate (PG) programmes, to be offered in the upcoming session 2012. The programmes are jointly offered by NIFM and NSE, and are duly approved by Ministry of Finance, Government of India. Candidates will be short-listed on the basis of merit obtained in the Online Entrance Test, scheduled to be conducted on the below mentioned date, or CAT / MAT / XAT, and called for Group Discussion (GD) / Personal Interview (PI). Final selection will be made on the basis of candidates’ performance in GD / PI.
 
Programmes Offered:
  • Post Graduate Programme in Financial Markets (PGP-FM) - (One-year Full-time)
  • Post Graduate Executive Programme in Financial Markets (PGEP-FM) - (One-year Weekend)
Note:
  • Candidates with minimum of 2 years work experience after graduation can apply for PGEP-FM.
  • Candidates who have already qualified CAT / MAT / XAT test need not appear in the Online Entrance Test.

Entrance test will be held on June 30 and July 1, 2012.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may apply by following any of the below mentioned application processes.
  • For CAT / MAT / XAT qualified candidates: Candidates have to download the application form made available on the official website of NIFM: http://www.nifm.ac.in/ or NSE: http://www.nseindia.com/. The duly filled-in hard copy of the downloaded application form complete in all respect along with all requisite documents (list given on the website) and Demand Draft (DD) of Rs 900 should be sent to National Stock Exchange of India Ltd 4th Floor, Jeevan Vihar Building, Parliament Street, New Delhi - 110 001. The DD should be drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of National Institute of Financial Management, payable at New Delhi or Faridabad. The envelope containing the application form must be super scribed as “Application for PGP-FM / PGEP-FM (whichever is applicable)”.
  • For General Candidates: One must register himself / herself by logging onto the official website of NSE: http://www.nseindia.com/. After logging in to the website, candidates have to go to “Education” menu and click on the “Register for NIFM-NSE Online Test” button. One should set his / her own “User Id” and “Password” for the registration. The institute will send the id and password to the candidates via SMS e-mail. After receiving the conformation of id and password, candidates will be able to fill up the registration form. Candidates are advised to fill the details and pay the application fee of Rs 900 through online payment portal. After successful registration, an online Hall Ticket will be generated. One has to take a print out of the Hall Ticket and bring it at the time of Online Entrance Test.
