National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), New Delhi, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme in the following disciplines, to be offered in the upcoming session 2012. Candidates will first be short-listed on the basis of their applications. However, final selection will be made on the basis of candidates' performance in the interview, to be conducted by NIFT.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the application form and brochure from the Admissions Office, NIFT, New Delhi, on payment of Rs 250 through DD drawn in favour of NIFT, New Delhi, payable at Delhi. Application form and brochure can also be downloaded from the Institute’s official website: http://www.nift.ac.in/. Candidates belonging to General / OBC Category, who have purchased application forms, are required to submit a DD of Rs 2000 drawn in favour of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) payable at New Delhi, along with the application form. Candidates (General / OBC category) using the downloaded application form are required to submit a DD of Rs 2250 along with the application form. Candidates belonging to SC / ST Category, who have purchased the application form, are required to submit a DD of Rs 1000 drawn in the prescribed format, along with the application form. Candidates (SC / ST Category) using the downloaded application form are required to submit a DD of Rs 1250 along with the application form. The duly filled in and completed application form accompanied by all requisite enclosure documents and research proposal (details mentioned on the website) should be sent to the below mentioned address, latest by June 15, 2012.
