National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), Sonepat, Haryana, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into the below mentioned four year B Tech (Bachelor of Technology) and two year M Tech (Master of Technology) programmes, to be offered in the ensuing session 2012. The programmes are duly approved by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India. Admission into B Tech programme is made on the basis of AIEEE rank, followed by counseling, while for M Tech programme, candidates will be selected on the basis of GATE score, followed by interview, to be conducted by the Institute.
Note:
- An entrance test will be conducted by the Institute for non GATE qualified candidates (only in case seats are not filled).

How to apply
Interested candidates may download the application form and prospectus from the official website of NIFTEM: http://www.niftem.ac.in/. In addition, the same can be procured by post on sending a request to the Admission Cell of NIFTEM along with a Demand Draft of Rs 350 (including brochure fee and postal charge). The DD must be drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of ‘NIFTEM’, payable at SBI, Branch - NIFTEM Campus Kundli (Branch Code 15479).
The duly filled-in application form complete in all respect along with a DD of Rs 1000 (Rs 500 for SC / ST candidates) should be sent either through registered / speed post or submitted in person to the Head, Admission Cell, NIFTEM, Plot No. 97, Sector 56, HSIIDC Industrial Estate, Kundli, Sonepat, Haryana - 131 028, latest by June 16, 2012 up to 5.00 pm. However, application forms with a late fee of Rs 500 can be submitted by June 23, 2012 up to 5.00 pm.
