National Institute of Siddha (NIS), Chennai, Tamil Nadu, has issued the notification for admission into three year MD (Siddha) in various branches, to be offered in the upcoming academic session 2012-13. The institute is affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr M G R Medical University, Chennai - 32 and it follows the syllabus and curriculum approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM). Admission will be made on the basis of candidates' performance in the entrance examination, to be conducted by the Institute. Based on the marks obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the Institute the students are selected and admitted in the following Postgraduate Courses:
- Branch I – MD (Siddha) - Maruthuvam
- Branch II – MD (Siddha) - Gunapadam
- Branch III – MD (Siddha) - Sirappu Maruthuvam
- Branch IV – MD (Siddha) - Kuzhandhai Maruthuvam
- Branch V – MD (Siddha) - Noi Naadal
- Branch VI – MD (Siddha) - Nanjunoolum Maruthuva Neethinoolum

Name and address of the applicant should be mentioned in at the backside of the DD with contact number.
