National Institute of Technology (NIT), Durgapur, West Bengal, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into full-time PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme under TEQIP-II & Institute Scheme with scholarship in the following disciplines, to be offered in the upcoming session 2012. Admission will be made on the basis of candidate's performance in the written admission test (only for eligible candidates without valid GATE score / NET qualification), to be conducted by the department, followed by a viva voce with the central admission committee.
