National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur, Chhattisgarh, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) programme, to be offered at the below mentioned Department / Centers in the ensuing session 2012.
Note: The number of seats for PhD programme is not fixed. Hence, preference will be given to OBC/SC/ST/PH candidates over General Category candidates, if all other conditions remain same.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may download the application form from the official website of NIT Raipur: http://www.nitrr.ac.in/. In addition, one has to pay an application fee of Rs 200 (Rs 100 for SC / ST / PH) in the form of crossed Demand Draft (DD) drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of Director, NIT Raipur, payable at Raipur. The duly filled-in hard copy of downloaded application form, along with crossed DD (as mentioned above) should be sent to The Registrar, NIT Raipur, Chhattisgarh - 492010, on or before July 16, 2012. The envelope containing the application form must be super scribed as “PhD Admission for Academic Year 2012-13” along with the name of the Department applying for. For further information regarding admission, eligibility criteria and application procedure, one can visit the abovementioned website of NIT Raipur.
Note: The results of scrutiny and selection will be displayed on the website of NIT Raipur and no separate intimation will be sent to the candidates by post.
