National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela, Orissa, has invited online applications from eligible candidates for admission into the following disciplines of MA (Master of Arts) programme in Development Studies / M Sc (Master of Science) / M Tech (Master of Technology) programme, to be offered in the ensuing academic session 2012-13. Admission will be made by short-listing candidates on the basis of their applications, followed by their performance in the interview, to be conducted by the Institute.

How to Apply
Interested candidates need to apply online by logging onto the Institute’s official website: http://www.nitrkl.ac.in/. The application fee (non-refundable) is Rs. 500 which is to be paid in the form of DD drawn in favor of The Director, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, payable at any bank in Rourkela. After submitting the online application successfully, one must take a printout of the application form.
The duly acknowledged printout of the application form, along with DD and appropriate Sponsorship Certificate in Form No. NITR/AC/202 (if applicable), should be sent to The Assistant Registrar (Academic), National Institute of Technology, Rourkela - 769 008 (Odisha), latest by June 4, 2012. The envelope containing the application form should be superscribed with “Application for MA Programme in Development Studies / M Sc Programmes / M Tech Programmes 2012-13” (whichever applicable). For any further details regarding admission, eligibility criteria, and application procedure, candidates are requested to visit the Institute’s abovementioned official website.
Note: One must note that the results of scrutiny and selection will be displayed on the Institute’s official website: http://www.nitrkl.ac.in/ and no intimation will be sent to any candidates by post. Therefore, all candidates are advised to visit the website frequently for regular updates.
