National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, has announced the date of NIT MCA Common Entrance Test 2012, popularly known as NIMCET. It is a common entrance test conducted for admission into three year full time MCA (Master of Computer Applications) programme, offered by NITs located at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli and Warangal. NIMCET 2012 is organized jointly by eleven NITs and being conducted by NIT Warangal.
Date of Exam
NIMCET 2012 is scheduled to be held on May 20, 2012 (from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon).

Note: This is a tentative list of test centers. If enough number of candidates do not opt for a particular centre, that centre will be cancelled and the center chosen as second choice will be allotted automatically.

How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to apply online by filling in the online application made available on the Institute's official link:http://nimcet2012.nitw.ac.in/. The processing fee is Rs 1500 for Open/OBC category and Rs 750 for SC/ST category candidates, which is to be paid in the form of DD drawn in favor of NIMCET-2012, payable at Warangal. After successfully submitting the online application form, one must take the printout/hardcopy of the application form.
The hard copy of the application form along with the DD and other requisite documents (details given on the website) should be submitted by hand or sent through registered post / speed post, to The Secretary, NIMCET-2012, NIT, Warangal - 506 004 (AP), latest by April 16, 2012.
