National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into the following disciplines of full-time and part-time Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) programmes, to be offered in the ensuring session July 2012. Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of merit in the written entrance test / interview, conducted by the institute.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can download the application form from the Institute’s official website: http://www.nitw.ac.in/. The direct link to download the application form and other requisite details is: http://www.nitw.ac.in/nitw/announcements/PhD%20Advt-July%202012.pdf. The duly filled-in application form along with registration fees of Rs 600 (Rs 300 for SC/ST candidates) in the form of a crossed Demand Draft (DD) should be sent to Deputy Registrar, Academic Section, National Institute of Technology, Warangal 506 004, through Registered Post, on or before June 8, 2012. The DD should be drawn in favor of The Director, National Institute of Technology, Warangal, payable at SBH, NIT Warangal branch (Code No. 2149) or SBI, Battala Bazar (Code No. 07456). Applicants are required to mention their name and programme applied for on the reverse side of the DD. The envelope containing the application form, DD and other necessary enclosures (details given on the website) should be superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION TO PHD IN THE DEPARTMENT OF _______”. For more details regarding admission, eligiblity criteria and application procedure, applicants are requested to visit the aforementioned official website.
Note: Applicants who are already employed and wish to pursue PhD under full time basis must enclose NOC (No Objection Certificate), obtained from the employer.
