IIM Calcutta, IIT Kanpur, and IIT Madras, have jointly invited applications from eligible candidates (graduate engineers) for admission into Post Graduate Programme for Executives for Visionary Leadership in Manufacturing (PGPEX-VLM) course, to be offered in the upcoming academic session 2013-14, commencing from April 1, 2013. This one year full time residential program has a built in manufacturing focus that helps to appreciate an industry’s metamorphosis in competitive times. The course is being conducted jointly by 3 premier institutes of India viz. IIM Calcutta, IIT Kanpur and IIT Madras. The course has been designed by these institutes in consultation with industry, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), National Manufacturing Competitiveness Council (NMCC), and Ministry of HRD, Government of India. Selection will be based on academic records, work experience, aptitude test and personal interview, to be conducted by the institutes.

The aptitude test and interview is scheduled to be conducted on December 30, 2012.

The application fee (non refundable) is Rs 2500 which should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of “Indian Institute of Management Calcutta” payable in Kolkata. The duly filled in and completed application form, along with recommendation letter, required documents and application fee in Demand Draft, should be submitted latest by November 30, 2012.
