Ravenshaw University, Cuttack, Odisha, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme in the following subjects, to be offered in the upcoming academic session 2012-13. Admission will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the written entrance test, followed by viva-voce test, to be conducted by the University department.

How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to apply online by filling in the online application form made available on University's official website: http://ravenshawuniversity.ac.in/. The direct link for the same: http://hib.ximb.ac.in/Hibiscus/Pub/sveyRegister.php?client=ravenshaw&sveyid=RAV_PHD. The application fee for General courses is Rs 160 and for Women's Studies / International Studies is Rs 1500, which is to be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of ‘Ravenshaw University PhD Admission’ payable at Cuttack.
After successfully submitting the online application, one must take the printout of the same. The duly acknowledged and completed application form along with all requisite enclosure documents (details given in the website) and DD, should be sent through Speed Post / Registered Post to The Registrar, Ravenshaw University, Cuttack - 753003, latest by September 1, 2012. Candidates can also submit the same by hand on or before September 1, 2012.
