Rajendra Memorial Research Institute of Medical Sciences (RMRIMS), Agamkuan, Patna, Bihar, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme in the below mentioned disciplines, to be offered in the ensuing session 2012-13. The PhD programme being offered is affiliated to University of Calcutta and T.M. Bhagalpur University for PhD registration and award of degree. Admission will be made on the basis of pre PhD registration test, conducted by RMRIMS, Patna on the below mentioned date.
Note: Candidates who have qualified JRF in CSIR-NET / DBT / ICMR are exempted from the written test. However, they have to appear for the interview.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can apply through a typed / written application on A4-size paper according to the prescribed format given on the official website of RMRIMS: http://www.rmrims.org.in/. Candidates have to pay an application fee (non refundable) of Rs 300 (Rs 200 for SC / ST candidates) in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn in favor of Director RMRIMS, Patna, payable at Patna. The duly written or typed application form, along with all requisite documents (list is given on the website), two passport-size photographs and DD, should be sent to The Director, RMRIMS, Agamkuan, Patna - 800 007, on or before January 31, 2012 (up to 5.00 pm). Candidates should enclose two self addressed envelopes of 10 x 22 cm affixed with Rs 5 stamps along with the application form. The envelope should be superscripted with “Application for PhD programme 2012” in which the application would be sent.
