Shiromani Gurdawara Prabhandak Committee (SGPC), Amritsar, has invited applications from eligible candidates to register for Sikh Religion Examination 2012, also known as SRE. SRE is being conducted by Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib, on behalf of SGPC. However, admission will be made on AIEEE-2012 or JET-2012 merit. This qualifying examination is for 50% reserved seats in the following SGPC run institutes:

- BBSB Polytechnic College, Fatehgarh Sahib
- Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana
- Guru Nanak Dev Polytechnic, Ludhiana

SRE is scheduled to be held on May 27, 2012 (from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm)

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the prescribed application forms in person only (for verification of their Sikh identiy with the documents) from the counter of BBSBEC, Fatehgarh Sahib [from May 14, 2012 to May 25, 2012, except May 20, 2012 (Sunday)]. This form shall have to be brought to the BBSB Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib. The duly filled in and completed application form along with all requisite documents (details mentioned on the link: http://gndec.ac.in/?q=node/195) should be submitted to Coordinator (SRE) c/o Principal, BBSB Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib, latest by May 25, 2012.
