Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), Gurgaon, Haryana, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into various Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) programmes for conducting research in the following broad inter-disciplinary areas, to be offered in the upcoming session 2012. Admission of short-listed candidates will be done on the basis of their academic records, followed by performance in the interview, conducted by the institute.
Inter-disciplinary Areas:
- Infectious diseases
- Tuberculosis
- Micronutrients and host immune response in pediatric diseases
- Biology of specific pediatric diseases
- Auto-immune diseases, infection and inflammation, Antibody Engineering for diagnostics and therapeutics, Medical devices, implants
- Vaccine and antimicrobial development
Note: Candidate must hold an MBBS, or Master’s degree in life sciences, agriculture, veterinary science, engineering, or pharmacy. Only candidates holding a Junior Research fellowship (JRF) from CSIR-UGC, DBT, ICMR or DST-INSPIRE are eligible to apply.
