Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, Maharashtra, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into Integrated M Phil (Master of Philosophy) & PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme and Direct PhD programme (offered in various schools and independent centres at TISS), to be offered in the ensuing academic session 2012-13. Admission will be made on the basis of candidate's performance in the written test, followed by personal interview, to be conducted by the Institute. Interested candidates can download the prescribed application form and prospectus from the Institute’s official website: http://www.tiss.edu/. Application fee is Rs 800 which is to be paid through bank challan (downloadable from the website), by depositing it any branch of the State Bank of India (details given in the website).
One can also send request for Application Form and Prospectus by POST or obtain it in person, from Section Officer (DSO & Meetings) along with a bank challan of Rs 800 (deposited in any branch of the State Bank of India). The duly acknowledged hard copy of application along with requisite enclosure documents (details given in the website) should be sent to the Section Officer (DSO & Meetings), Tata Institute of Social Sciences, V.N. Purav Marg, Deonar, Mumbai - 400 088, latest by April 8, 2012.
