AMU Diploma Course in Quranic Studies and Calligraphy & Graphic Design Last Date of Application Clos

The last date of application for admission into Diploma in Quranic Studies and Diploma in Calligraphy & Graphic Design course at AMU closes on April 16, 2013. Interested candidates are requested to apply on or before the last date mentioned. The course intake for Diploma in Quranic Studies will be 30, and Diploma in Calligraphy & Graphic Design will be 15.

Candidates will be selected for the programme on the basis of their performance in the Qualifying Examination (100 Marks) followed by an Interview (20 Marks).

Eligibility
For Diploma in Quranic Studies: Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent examination with 45% marks. Further, the candidate should have elementary knowledge of Arabic / Urdu.

For Diploma in Calligraphy and Graphic Design: Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent examination with 45% marks. Further, the candidate should have elementary knowledge of Arabic / Urdu.
Interested candidates are required to apply into the offline application form. The processing charges will be Rs 200. Thereafter, the duly filled application must be submitted to the Director’s Office, K.A. Nizami Centre for Quranic Studies, AMU, Aligarh 202002 on or before April 16, 2013. 

As per sources, on the recommendations of the Board of Studies of the Centre for Quranic Studies held on 18.02.2013, the Vice-Chancellor on behalf of the Academic Council in exercise of his powers vested in him under Section 19(3) of the AMU Act, 1920 (asamended up-to-date), has approved the proposal to start the Diploma in Quranic Studies and Diploma in Calligraphy & Graphic Design from the session 2013-2014.
