CA Intermediate Results Announced

Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (CA) results was declared on Wednesday, 31 July, 2013 with pass percentage of less than 12 per cent. The Chartered Accountants Intermediate (IPC) exam was conducted in May 2013 and a total of 63,871 candidates appeared for the IPC exams.

Sakshi Sanjay Gupta from Mumbai who scored a percentage of 81.14 is the all India Topper. Two candidates - Himanshu Nemichand Agrawal from Surat and K N V V Upendra from Vuyyuru, who scored 80.71%, secured the second place. Ronak Bhaphna of Vadodara secured 79.86% in the test and secured the third position.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is a professional accounting body of India which was established on July 1, 1953, under the under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 to regulate the profession of chartered accountancy in India. ICAI is the second largest professional accounting body in the world. First being the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. ICAI is a licensing and regulating body of accountancy profession in India.
