The Department Of Library & Information Science, Calcutta University, has invited applications for admissions into 5-Year Integrated MLIS Course in Library & Information Science, for the session 2013- 2018. The progarmme will be offered with a total intake of 40 students.
The eligibility prescribed is that any person appearing H.S. (10 + 2) examination under WBCHSE in the year 2013 and passed H.S. (10 + 2) examination under WBCHSE in the year 2012 in Indian Academic System or equivalent degree from recognized Council / Institution may apply for the proagramme.
Candidates will be selected for admissions on the basis of their performance in the Admission Test followed by Counseling.

Interested candidates can download the application form from the University’s official website: http://www.caluniv.ac.in/. Thereafter, the duly filled application in the prescribed form available in the University website for admission to the 5-Year integrated MLIS course in Library & Information Science (2013 – 2018) accompanied by the counterpart of receipt on payment of Rs 250 at University Cash Counter, should be submitted at the Department of Library & Information Science, University of Calcutta on or before the last date mentioned (12 Noon – 4.00 pm).
