Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala has invited applications for the entrance exam for admission to MCA in AICTE approved institutions in Kerala for the year 2013-2014.
Eligibility
Candidates must have completed graduation with minimum 3 years duration after 10+2, with mathematics, statistics, computer science, computer applications, engineering and technology as a main subject in degree course. The candidate must have secured 50% marks in their degree examination.
Entrance Examination
The exam would be conducted in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode centres on 08.09.2013 (Sunday) from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon. The exam will consist of 150 multiple choice questions covering topics such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, General Knowledge, General English and Fundamentals of Computer Awareness at graduation level.
How to Apply
Interested candidates can apply online on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in. The online registration will remain open from 8th August, 2013 to 20th August, 2013.
Application Fee
Application fee for general category candidates in Rs 800/- and for SC/ST candidates, the application fee is Rs 400/-. The fees can be remitted at the State Bank of Travancore using the bank chalan, which is available along with the print out of online application.
Last Date of Receipt of Print out Application
Candidates should take printout of the online submitted application and affix a recent passport-size photograph identical to the one uploaded. The photo along with application should be attested by a Gazetted Officer. This application along with the required documents should be forwarded to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, 5th Floor, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram – 695001 in A4 size envelope, either by registered post, speed post, hand delivery so as to reach the office before 5 pm on 21.08.2013. The admit cards can be downloaded from the website from 30th August, 2013 onwards.
