Civil Service Main Exam 2013 from Dec 1

The main examination in the scheme of the Civil Services Examination, 2013 will be held from 1st to 5th December, 2013 at19 centers across the country. The detailed time table will be made available along with the e-Admit Card. The main examination will be held at these centres: Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Shillong, Shimla and Thiruvananthapuram.
 
Visually-impaired candidates can appear for the exam at the following seven centres: Chennai, Delhi, Dispur, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai as extra facilities would be provided to visually impaired candidates only at these seven centers.
 
Candidates appearing for civil services main exams are required to apply to ‘Under Secretary Secretary (CSM), Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-l10069. After completing the online application, the print out of the application should be sent to the above address. The last date of submission of online application form is Sept 18, 2013. All relevant enclosures relating to educational qualifications, age, community, physical disability etc. should be enclosed with the printed copy of the application form sent to the Commission.
 
General candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 200/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamps. Central Recruitment Fee Stamps may be obtained from the post office and affixed on the application form in the space provided therein. Female candidates and candidates belonging to scheduled castes and scheduled tribes are exempted from paying exam fee.
