This year, the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (Comed-K) PGET results will be announced son May 20 and the UGET results on June 1. As per sources, with the Supreme Court has clearing the way for admissions into the UG and PG medical and dental admissions, the pace picked up for the declaration of the state entrance test results.
According to a statement issued by Dr Prem Kumar, Registrar RGUHS, the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) is yet to fix its date. It should be around May 20-21.Both published the answer key soon after the SC order on Monday. He informed that the UG results of Comed-K will be announced on June 11 and that of CET on May 27.
Every year, the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK), Bangalore, Karnataka, conducts the Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGET) and Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGCET).
The PGCET is conducted for Indian national candidates aspiring to pursue Post Graduate Courses in Medicine and Dentistry in the state of Karnataka, in Member Institutions of the Consortium (Medical and Dental Colleges). The UGCET is conducted to determine the merit of students seeking admissions to the undergraduate courses in the Member Institutions of the Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation Trust (KPCF).
As per sources, in total, there are 12 Medical, 25 Dental and more than 150 engineering colleges who has an intake capacity of 20,000 seats for admissions.
