How to Apply
Interested candidates can apply for the aforementioned academic programmes of the University by following the below given instructions:
- For CAT / GMAT / CMAT / LET: Candidates should register themselves on the official website of the University: http://www.cusat.ac.in/. In addition, they have to pay an application fee of Rs 950 (Rs 425 for SC / ST candidates) through Bank Challan (downloadable from the website) at any of the branches of SBI Bank, across India. Students can also obtain the printed application form by post or in person by paying the required application fee (as mentioned above) in the form of Demand Draft (DD) drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of Registrar, CUSAT, payable at Ernakulum. Candidates are advised to fill and submit the online application form on or before February 11, 2013 (March 30, 2013 for International students).
- For DAT: Candidates can obtain the application form in person or by post from the concerned department on payment of required application fee (as mentioned above). Application fee should be paid in the form of DD drawn on State Bank of Travancore or SBI, in favor of Registrar, CUSAT, payable at Cochin. The duly filled-in application form along with DD of requisite amount should be sent to the concerned department latest by February 11, 2013.
Note:
Foreign nationals are exempted from appearing in CAT / DAT. They can apply on self-financing basis or through the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. An application fee of US$ 100 or equivalent INR is to be paid by the candidates in the form of DD / Pay Order / any other Instrument (which does not involve collection charges on part of the University) drawn in favor of Registrar, CUSAT. After successful registration, candidates have to send advanced copy of the duly filled-in online submitted application form along with the payment of registration fee and requisite documents (as mentioned in the prospectus) to The Director, International Relations and Academic Admissions, Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi, Kerala - 682 022.
