Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into full time Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme, to be offered in the below mentioned areas, in the upcoming academic session 2013. Selection will be made on the basis of candidates’ performance in entrance test, followed by interview, to be conducted by the admission committee of IIIT Delhi on the following date.
PhD Areas:
Computer Science and Engineering:
- Computer Architecture and Systems Design, Image Analysis and Biometrics, Information Management and Data Engineering, Mobile Computing and Networking Applications, Security and Privacy, Software Engineering, Theoretical Computer Science, IT and Health
Electronics & Communication Engineering:
- Computer Architecture and Systems Design, Embedded and VLSI Systems Design, Nano-Electronics, Robotics, RF and mixed signal electronics, Signal Processing, Wireless Communication, Wireless Networks
Date of Exam
Written examination is scheduled to be held on May 4, 2013 (from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm)
Interview of selected candidates’ will be conducted on May 4, 2013 (from 2:00 pm onwards)

How to Apply
Interested candidates may apply online by filling and submitting the application form on the official website of the institute: http://www.iiitd.ac.in/. The direct link for the same is: http://sites.iiitd.ac.in/forms/admission/phd.php. Online application link is open and will close on April 15, 2013. In addition, an application fee of Rs 350 is to be paid by the candidates in the form of Demand Draft (DD) drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of IIIT Delhi Collection Account, payable at Delhi. Candidates are not required to send any documents except the DD of requisite amount (as mentioned above).
The DD should be addressed to Assistant Manager (Academics), A-107, Academics Building, IIIT-Delhi, Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-3, New Delhi - 110020, on or before April 18, 2013 (upto 5:00 pm). Candidates are advised to write their mention name, application number and name of PhD program at the back of the demand draft.
