International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Population Studies and Post Doctoral Fellowship (PDF), to be offered in the session 2013-14. Selection for PhD programme will be made on the basis of candidate's performance in written test, on research methodology, personal interview and past academic records. However, for PDF, final selection will be made on the basis of submission of comprehensive research proposal and interview, to be conducted by the Institute.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can obtain the prescribed application form and information from the Assistant Registrar (Academic), International Institute for Population Sciences, Deonar, Mumbai-400 088, in person or through post, by sending a self addressed Rs 50, stamped envelope (25cm x 12cm) to the mentioned address. However, one can also download the application form, from the Institute’s official website: http://iipsindia.org/.
The processing fee (non-refundable) is Rs 400 (exempted for SC / ST and PH candidates), can be paid in form of a DD, drawn from any nationalized Bank in favour of the Director, IIPS, Mumbai. This should reach the Assistant Registrar (Academic) before the due date. The processing fee may also be paid in cash, at the cash counter and its receipt should be attached along with the filled in application form. The duly completed application form along with the DD and other requisite enclosures should be submitted, latest by July 31, 2013.
