Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata has invited applications for admission into the following Integrated PhD Programme into the following departments, for the academic year 2013-14.
• Biological Sciences (DBS)
• Chemical Sciences (DCS)
• Earth Sciences (DES)
• Physical Sciences (DPS)
• Mathematics and Statistics (DMS)
Candidates will be selected for admission into the programme on the basis of their performance in a written test followed by an Interview.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can apply online in the application form available in the institute’s official website: http://www.iiserkol.ac.in/. The applicants should open the link and must carefully fill the application form as instructed and submit. Thereafter, applicants should save the properly filled application form and take a print as the hard copy of the application.
Note: Selected candidates for test/interview should bring a hard copy of application along with the required documents listed below at the time of test/interview:
1. Attested copies of mark sheets and certificates of all examinations starting from secondary examination.
2. Confidential recommendation letters of assessment of the applicant from two teachers who have taught courses and would be able to evaluate the student as a potential research worker. The teachers should seal the envelopes and sign across the flaps.
3. Photo identity
4. Proof of age
