Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad, Jharkhand, has invited applications for admission into the following disciplines of Master of Science (M Sc) / M Sc Technology programmes, to be offered in the upcoming academic session 2013-14. Admissions will be made on the basis of the entrance test, conducted by the Institute.
M Sc/M Sc Technology Disciplines:
- M Sc Tech in Applied Geophysics (three years)
- M Sc Tech in Applied Geology (three years)
- M Sc in Chemistry (two years)
- M Sc in Mathematics & Computing (two years)
- M Sc in Applied Physics (two years)

The entrance examination is scheduled to be held on May 12, 2013 (from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon).

How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to apply online by filling in the online application form made available on Institute’s official website: http://www.ismdhanbad.ac.in/. The direct link for online application is: http://www.examinationonline.in/ism/. The application fee is Rs 1500 (Rs 750 for SC/ST/PD candidates), which can be paid through appropriate payment options available such as, Internet banking / ATM cum Debit Card / SBI Bank Challan. After successfully submitting the online application, one must take printout of the same. The printout of the system generated application form along with payment receipt, photocopies of all certificates and mark sheets, should be sent to the office of the Deputy Registrar (Exam & Academic), Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad-826004, Jharkhand, latest by April 8, 2013. The envelope containing the print out of system generated application form and all other relevant documents should be super-scribed as “Admission to M Sc / M Sc Tech 2013”.
