Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, has invited online applications from well qualified candidates for admission into Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course, to be offered in the ensuing session commencing from July 2013. JIPMER is an institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India and offers various academic programmes duly approved by Medical Council of India. Selection of the candidates in MBBS programme will be made on the basis of their performance in entrance test, to be conducted by the institute on the belowmentioned date.

The entrance examination is scheduled to be held on June 2, 2013 (from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm)

How to Apply
Interested candidates may apply online by visiting the official website of JIPMER: http://jipmer.edu.in/. Online application link is now available and will close on May 4, 2013 (upto 5:00 pm). An application fee of Rs 1000 (Rs 800 for SC / ST candidates) is to be paid by the candidates through E-Challan downloadable from the website. The application fee can be remitted at any of branch of State Bank of India (SBI). After filling up all the details, candidates have to submit the application form on the website and take a print out of the auto generated application form in PDF format for further correspondence with the institute.
