Kashmir University, Faculty of Applied Sciences & Technology, has invited applications for admission into the vacant “Self Financed Seats” for the ensuing session 2013. The vacancies have been created for admissions due to the non- completion of admission formalities by some of the candidates.
However, the ones bearing following Entrance Test Roll Nos. having already applied for admission under “Self Financed Seats” category in the disciplines of Electronics, Food Science & Technology, and Information Technology are provisionally selected for admission to the course/s shown against each.

Selected candidates are requested to download their admission forms from the official website of the University of Kashmir www.kashmiruniversity.net and are directed to complete their admission related formalities by or before May 14, 2013 up to 4:00 pm and submit the same to the concerned Departments. However, failing to which their right to admission shall be forfeited and the resultant vacancy/ies (if any) shall be filled up from waiting list. Further, the candidates bearing following Entrance Test Roll Nos. in the Discipline of Computer Application (MCA) under “Self Financed Seat” category have to attend the counseling on May 13, 2013 at 10:00 am in the Office Chamber of the Head, Department of Computer Sciences for which they shall submit the counseling form on the same day itself.

Furthermore, it is notified for the information of candidates those have appeared in the Entrance Test 2013 for admission to MCA Programme and wish to be considered for the same at DOEACC, SSM and IITM that the final/ special counseling for the same shall be held on May 14, 2013 at 10:00 am to 01:00 pm in Office Of The Dean, Faculty Of Applied Sciences & Technology University of Kashmir, Srinagar, Department of Computer Sciences, University of Kashmir, Srinagar before the admission process for the current session is closed.
Besides, the candidates are directed to download the prescribed counseling forms from the University website www.kashmiruniversity.net and submit the same to the office of the Department of Computer Sciences on the date of counseling half an hour before the proceedings of the counseling start.
