Mangalore: The Mangalore University has declared the results of all even semester undergraduate courses examinations, which were conducted from April 8, 2013 till May 17, 2013.
The university conducted examination for 15 courses, in which total 87,148 students appeared. The results of the final batch of 532 LLB students of the five-year and three-year course, announced on June 8, 2013, were last in the list, as the tabulation of LLB results is done manually.
B Narayana, registrar (evaluation) has stated that B Sc programme among the 15 courses has registered the best results with 4,366 students qualifying the examination, for pass percentage of 80.97. As per sources, the results of other major courses include: B Com: 21,504 (62.88%); BBM: 9,870 (49.55%), BA 11,327 (61.29%); BCA: 2,971 (63.17%); BSW 890 (76%), and BHM 712 (54.85%).
This year, the university has declared the results within 18 days after the completion of examinations. B Narayana also said that the students’ marks card has already been dispatched to the respective institutions, and they will receive it on June 17 when classes for the odd-semester get underway. He also added that but for the computerization of the tabulation process, this would not have become a reality.
