Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB), Thiruvananthapuram, has invited applications for admissions into PhD programme, for the session commencing from July 2013.The PhD programme will be offered in the following disciplines: Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Medical, Veterinary and Chemical Sciences. The center is affiliated to University of Kerala.
Eligibility
General category applicants must have First Class or above throughout and a valid Research Fellowship from UGC/CSIR/ICMR/DBT/DST-INSPIRE and should be less than 28 years of age as on June 1, 2013
SC/ST candidates with a valid fellowship need to have only 50% marks. They will be eligible for age relaxation as per rules, and are exempted from paying processing fees.
Date of Exam
N / A (Short listing and selection of candidates will be by interview and Faculty interaction scheduled to be held from June 10 to 14, 2013. Names of candidates called for short listing will be displayed on the RGCB website on May 20, 2013 and will also be notified by email.)
