Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), New Delhi, will conduct the Geologists Examination 2013 on November 9th, 2013 for recruitment of Geologists, Assistant Geologists, Junior Hydrogeologists and Assistant Hydrogeologists.
Candidates who want to apply must visit the official website http://upsconline.nic.in/ and click on the link ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC and should fill the online application form. The last date for filling the application forms is 23rd September, 2013.

• Forms would be available from August 24th, 2013
• Last date of submission of online application is September 23rd, 2013 till 11.59pm
• Date of exam is 9th November, 2013
Eligibility
Candidates must be minimum 21 years of age and below 32 years as on August 1st, 2013. The upper age limit can be relaxed upto 7 years in case of Government servants and upto 5 years in case of scheduled tribes and scheduled caste.
Examination Centers
The examination will be held at Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Allahabad, Jammu, Bangalore, Kolkata, Bhopal, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Chennai, Patna, Cuttack, Shillong, Delhi, Shimla, Dispur, Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram. Allotment of centres will be based on the first-apply-first-allot basis, and once the capacity of a particular centre is fulfilled, the same will be frozen. Hence, the applicants should apply early to get a centre of their choice.
Examination Fees
Candidates are required to pay the fees of Rs 200/- either by depositing the money in the branch of SBI by cash, net banking, credit card or debit card. Female candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST are exempted from payment of fees.
